CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Fitch Services is a company based in Charlottesville that provides heating and cooling, electric, plumbing, and water supply services to the city and surrounding counties.

"We have been in business for over 30 years, started by my father John Fitch," said Chris Fitch, the owner and president of the company. "I have worked for the company for over 20 years. We do basically anything to do with the mechanical systems in the home or some small business buildings."

From the company's start, Fitch says genuine customer focus has been the priority.

"That's always the first priority. Making sure that we do the best work and meet any customer concerns head on and leave them satisfied with what we have provided," he said. 

Fitch Services credits much of its success to the help of Virginia National Bank.

"They have been very easy to work with," said Fitch. "We have had lines of credit at different points in our history, where we have needed extra funds to take on a certain project, or get more vehicles or tools, and they have always been very easy."
