CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- No. 16 Virginia remained kept their unbeaten start to the season going Saturday behind a six-point performance from captain Morgan Schwab to take down Princeton 14-12. 

Seven Cavaliers found the back of the net led by senior Katia Carnevale and Kiki Shaw who each scored three goals on the day. Schwab and fellow senior Mackenzie Hoeg each finished with a pair of goals. 

Schwab also moved in to fourth place in program history this afternoon in career assists with four this afternoon. 

In goal, Mel Josephson made 12 saves in for a third straight game. 

The Hoos return to action on Friday where they will host North Carolina in their ACC opener at 5 p.m.
