LOUISVILLE, Ky (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Virginia hit six home runs in a 16-7 victory over Louisville to earn the series win over the Cardinals. The 47 runs scored this weekend matches the program record for runs in a three-game ACC series. 

Luke Hanson had two of UVA’s six homers in the contest, his first multi-homer game of his career. He finished the day 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI. Harrison Didawick went deep for the 15th time this season and Henry Ford hit his third homer of the series. Eric Becker capped a standout weekend for the Cavaliers with his second homer of the series and finished the three-game set with nine RBI.

Reliever Chase Hungate was credited with the victory after pitching four innings of one-run baseball.

Virginia wrap up their four-game road trip on Tuesday when they head to Norfolk to take on Old Dominion at 6 p.m.
