CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A man wanted in connection with a shooting in the FIfeville area is now in custody.

The Charlottesville Police Department says Corinthian “Zayquan” Brown turned himself in to police on Thursday afternoon.

He is facing charges of malicious wounding, shooting from a vehicle, maliciously shooting at a vehicle, and use of a firearm during a malicious wounding in connection with the Tuesday incident.

Officers were initially called to the 700 block of Prospect Avenue around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, but their investigation led them to find the scene of the shooting at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Ridge Street.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
