CULPEPER, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- On Wednesday, the contractor replacing the bridge over the North Fork Hardware River in Albemarle County will need to pause traffic at Scottsville Road and Red Hill Road for two 10-minute intervals sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Workers will be setting 66-foot steel beams into place that will form part of the westbound bridge base.

The $5.3M project to replace the 1959-era structure got underway in December, and the expected completion date is next December.
