Arraignment date set for Greene Supervisor accused of grand larceny

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- David Cox, a member of the Greene County Board of Supervisors who is accused of illegal farming, made his first court appearance Tuesday morning.

Cox and Richard Eppard are both accused of farming and harvesting hay on government property.

They made their first appearances in Greene County Circuit Court with their attorneys Tuesday.

Both men have been indicted with one count of felony grand larceny.

Court records show the alleged illegal farming was taking place since June 2013.

An arraignment date has been set for July 30.
