CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- One of the men convicted of beating Deandre Harris in a parking garage on Aug. 12, 2017 was sentenced to prison on Monday.
Daniel Borden pleaded guilty to malicious wounding in May.
He was sentenced to a total of 20 years in prison but a judge suspended most of that, which means he will spend three years and ten months behind bars.
After his release, Borden will spend five years on probation.
Last year, Alex Ramos was sentenced to six years in prison while Jacob Goodwin was sentenced to eight years on charges also connected with the beating.
Harris suffered a broken wrist and needed staples in his head.
He was also initially charged in the case, but Harris was later found not guilty on those charges.
