Chantilly man killed in Louisa County crash

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Chantilly man was killed in an early morning crash in Louisa County on Monday.

The Virginia State Police reports 33-year-old James Barrett Coburn of Chantilly was heading east on Kentucky Springs Road near the intersection with Elk Creek Road when he ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 4:45 a.m. Monday.

Police say Coburn was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
