Community Job Fair coming up with dozens of employers

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Community Job Fair is coming up next week.

It will be held May 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the John Paul Jones Arena.

More than 100 employers from a variety of fields will be present, including Co-Construct, LA Lacy, the National Ground Intelligence Agency, S&P Global and many others.

Positions that are available range from entry level to management,

The fair is free and open to the public, though attendees can get quicker access to employers by pre-registering at the link in the Related Links box.

Attendees should come dressed to interview and bring copies of their resume.

Community resource agencies, like the Downtown Job Center and ThriVe Women's Healthcare, will have representatives on hand as well.

The fair is sponsored by the city of Charlottesville in partnership with Albemarle County, Virginia Career Works, the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services, Offender Aid and Restoration, and the Virginia Employment Commission.
