CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- As a way to escape the heat, the community came out to try craft beers from different breweries during the second annual Charlottesville Ale Trail Crawl on Saturday.
Six craft breweries were on the Charlottesville Ale Trail passport for people to explore throughout the day.
Todd Wickersty, one of the directors of the Charlottesville Ale Trail, said craft breweries offer a way to celebrate the community while offering unique styles.
"Each craft brewery also has a different style and we use Saturday's event to let people see these different styles and enjoy the experience at each of these breweries," he said.
Wickersty hopes they can put on the Charlottesville Ale Trail next year.
