EPiC endorses Bob Fenwick for council

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (NEWSPLEX) -- Charlottesville activist group EPiC, or Equity and Progress in Charlottesville, has announced it is endorsing incumbent Bob Fenwick for the Charlottesville City Council ahead of the June 13 primary.

In a statement, EPiC said Fenwick represents many of the ideals held by the organization and has worked to accomplish several stated EPiC goals.

The other two candidates running as Democrats for the council are Amy Laufer and Heather Hill.

Members of EPiC include former City Councilor Dede Smith, former City Mayor Dave Norris and the late-Vice Mayor Holly Edwards.
