CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Omni Hotel hosted the fifth annual Jimmy "Magic Man" Miller Bracket Breakfast on Monday.
The breakfast featured panelists who shared their expertise with the audience and discussed how March Madness could play out.
The money raised will benefit Piedmont CASA and help the organization recruit advocates for abused and neglected children.
The event took place the day after Selection Sunday, where the University of Virginia was selected as the overall number one seed in the NCAA.
Piedmont CASA's president, Alicia Lenahan, said UVA basketball's success made guests even more excited about the event.
"The team has done well every year. This year is particularly exciting, so I think people are paying even more attention than they normally do and are here to celebrate the talent and dedication of a wonderful group of young men and dedicated coaching staff," Lenahan said.
Guests also got to enter the Jimmy Miller online tournament for a chance to win prizes at the end of March Madness.
