CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- More than 500 measles cases have been confirmed in 20 states, in what is being described as the worst outbreak in decades.

Marcia Hornberger, an epidemiologist with the Thomas Jefferson Health District, spoke with Chris Cerbo about why measles is so contagious, and what people can do to protect themselves.
