CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Darron Schnell has the enviable job of driving a monster truck for a living.

This weekend, he will be driving Bigfoot, one of the mammoth vehicles featured in the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live show at John Paul Jones Arena.

Show times are at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Before each show, they are also hosting a Crash Zone Pre-Show Party that allows people to see the trucks up close and interact with the drivers.

"It's such an awesome experience to be able to go out there and perform for those little guys," Schnell said. "When those little guys walk up to you, they're so star struck that they can't talk. It's such a rush for me, I can't even describe it."

The show features jumps and stunts with monster trucks, freestyle motocross, and Megasaurus, the fire-breathing, car-eating robot.
