Murder case being sent to Albemarle grand jury

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The case against a man accused of killing a woman in Albemarle County and dumping her body along the John Warner Parkway is moving forward.

A second-degree murder charge was certified to the grand jury on Thursday morning against Robert Henderson. Henderson is accused of killing Angela Lax from Piedmont, Ohio, in June 2018.

The remains of Lax were discovered near the parkway in November 2018.

Henderson is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.

The grand jury will hear his case on April 1.
