Scattered flurries fall, but warm ground means no accumulation

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Parts of the area saw a few flurries Tuesday morning and early afternoon, especially in the higher elevations.

But none of the snow stuck once it hit the ground.

Up at Carter Mountain Orchard, the snow came down fairly heavily for a time.

But due to recent warm weather, the ground was too warm for any of the snow to last.
