The Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship Showcase will be held Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This is the 16th year for the event that celebrates traditional music, crafts and foodways of the Commonwealth while introducing people to the master artists and the apprentices who work to keep such traditions alive.

"We are pleased to welcome old friends and first-time guests to the Virginia Folklife Program's Apprenticeship Showcase at Highland," said Highland Executive Director Sara Bon-Harper. "This public event is an excellent opportunity to connect with traditions cherished throughout Virginia."
