CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Staff training will close the Thomas Jefferson Health District's Environmental Health offices on Monday and Tuesday next week.
According to a release from the Virginia Department of Health, the state agency and its local offices are migrating to a new data system on June 20.
That means some Environmental Health services that are reliant on the database will be interrupted for seven to ten days.
These services include but are not limited to the printing of approval letters and permits, accepting and processing of onsite sewage system operation and maintenance reports, and responding to requests for data abstraction or publishing of reports.
Anyone with questions is advised to contact their local health department.
The offices will resume normal operation on Wednesday.
