Three town halls on Albemarle County budget coming up

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Albemarle County residents have some more chances to learn about the county's proposed budget for fiscal year 2020.

On Monday, Supervisor Ann Mallek will be holding a town hall at Broadus Wood Elementary School beginning at 7 p.m.

Another town hall will be held Tuesday with supervisors Diantha McKeel and Ned Galloway as well as Albemarle County School Board members Kate Acuff and Katrina Callsen.

That town hall will be held at Jack Jouett Middle School, beginning at 7 p.m.

Finally, McKeel and Galloway will be hosting another town hall meeting Thursday at CATEC, again beginning at 7 p.m.

Albemarle County officials have also released the 2018 Community Report, which can be viewed online.
