Two arrested for break-in at Louisa County church

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Louisa County Sheriff's Office says two men are facing charges connected to a church break-in and stolen van.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies went to the Oakland Baptist Church in Gum Spring for an incident not related to the church.

While they were there, they discovered the church had been broken into and the church van was missing.

That van was later recovered in Henrico County with two people inside.

Robert Heath Wyatt of Henrico and Christopher Samuel Causway, Jr. of Highland Springs, both 21, are facing multiple felony charges.

The charges are grand larceny of an automobile, breaking and entering, and destruction of property worth more than $1,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
