CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Another statue has been vandalized in Charlottesville, this time near the University of Virginia Corner.

UVA Facilities Management had employees on the site of the George Rogers Clark statue at the corner of Jefferson Park Avenue and West Main Street on Monday morning.
They were working to clean red paint off the statue.
Officials also say a tarp was placed over it sometime Sunday night or Monday morning.
Calls to remove the Clark statue and one depicting Sacagawea have gotten louder in recent months.
