UVA students camp out in Hooville before UVA-Duke game

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- University of Virginia students are camping outside John Paul Jones Arena before Saturday's game between (2) Duke and (3) UVA.

Some students have been outside the arena since Thursday night.

They have been playing card games, making signs and more to keep them entertained throughout the day and night.

The students are also looking get the best seats for ESPN's College GameDay on Saturday morning.

This will second straight year that UVA has hosted ESPN's college basketball show and the fourth time in the last five years.

Caitlin Knowles, a fourth-year, said that this was her third year participating n Hooville.

She said this year's participation will be bittersweet.

"We've been to College GameDay when I was a third-year and a first year and we love it every year," said Knowles. "I think it's bittersweet, because this will be my last time doing this, but I love it so much. I love the energy here and we're really committed so it's always a fun time every year."

She predicted that UVA will defeat Duke 65-60 with Kyle Guy leading the team in scoring.

Knowles said that she has gotten the chance to meet Rece Davis and she hopes that she gets to meet the rest of the GameDay crew on Saturday.
