ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (NEWSPLEX) -- Virginia Rules is a camp sponsored by Virginia's Office of the Attorney General, and helps kids have better relationships with each other and the police.
"They're learning to work together as a team," said Attorney General Mark Herring. "And I also hope that they're going to see that local law enforcement, and a lot of adults in the community, really care about them, and want them to grow up successfully."
The camp includes lessons about local laws, as well as teamwork activities such as rope climbing and more.
Local law enforcement agencies host the camps, and the officers involved participate in the activities.
Herring stopped in multiple cities on Tuesday, including Charlottesville, Orange, and Richmond.
