Blue Ridge's Kane signs with Campbell

ST. GEORGE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Blue Ridge's Xavier Kane put pen to paper on Wednesday morning to sign with Campbell to play football.

"Coach [Mike] Minter, the head coach, he's a family man," Kane said when talking about Campbell, "He brought it to my attention, you can't play football forever, going to Campbell it'll set me up for life, not just the next four years, but 40 years."

Kane was a 2018 first team All-VISAA quarterback, but will play safety for the Fighting Camels, where he was named second team All-VISAA this past season.
