Comeback leads 'Hoos to top-10 win

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Maggie Jackson scored off a free position with 10:30 left to give Virginia a lead it never gave up in a 12-9 win over Loyola Wednesday night.

Virginia closed the game on a 6-0 run, started with the Cavaliers trailed by three with 21:55 left in the game.

Sammy Mueller scored four goals to lead the Cavaliers. Avery Shoemaker added a hat trick of her own. Jackson scored twice and added an assist in the win.

Virginia trailed by four less than five minutes into the second half when Livy Rosenzweig scored the second of her two goals for Loyola. Virginia scored eight of the next nine goals to secure the win.
