Fairview's JSL Championship win down to the final points

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 Sports) -- The annual Jefferson Swim League Championship weekend came to an end, with every final point playing a role in the outcome.

Over the course of the weekend, 11 different Jefferson Swim League records were broken. Over 2,100 swimmers across 17 teams came out to compete at the UVA Aquatic and Fitness Center.

Fairview came into the weekend looking to continue its dominant run, having won the past five years.

This year's competition was close -- Boar's Head battling with the reigning champion through the final relays.

Fairview pulled off another win, finishing with 3,202.25 making this six-straight wins. Boar's Head was the runner up with 2,298.50, just a 3.75 point differential. Crozet finished in third place with 2,199.50 points.
