CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- As he phrased it Friday evening on Twitter, Marco Anthony has found his new home.
The former Virginia guard will continue his college basketball career at Utah State. The rising junior announced his decision to leave UVA in mid-April, shortly after the Cavaliers won the first NCAA title in program history.
Anthony scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 11 assists in 119 minutes over 22 games for UVA as a sophomore this past season. He averaged 1.5 points and 0.7 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game over 35 games in his two-year UVA career.
