Four undrafted 'Hoos sign with NFL teams

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Despite not hearing their names called in Nashville, four Wahoos will get a chance to compete for an NFL roster spot.

Outside linebacker Chris Peace signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. Peace was among the top linebackers in the ACC this past season in pressuring the quarterback, finishing with 6.5 sacks.

Virginia's all-time leader in receptions Olamide Zaccheaus will join his former quarterback Kurt Benkert with the Atlanta Falcons. Zaccheaus led the Cavaliers with 93 receptions and 1,058 yards receiving in 2018.

Running back Jordan Ellis signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, who also signed former Cavalier Andrew Brown last season. Ellis rushed for over 1,000 yards last season and scored 10 touchdowns.

Virginia lineman Marcus Applefield signed with the Baltimore Ravens after transferring from Rutgers for his one season in Charlottesville.
