CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- After six seasons on the Virginia women's basketball bench, La'Keisha Frett Meredith is leaving Charlottesville.
It was announced on Twitter that Frett Meredith accepted an assistant coaching job at Auburn. She joins Terri Williams-Flournoy's staff with the Tigers.
In her time at Virginia, the Cavaliers won 101 games and made four postseason appearances, including advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2018 in the Wahoos lone appearance.
Frett Meredith, a Hampton native, is the all-time leading scorer in VHSL history for both boys and girls basketball. She was an All-American and four-time All-SEC honoree at Georgia during her playing days.
