CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- The bus is coming back to John Paul Jones Arena.
ESPN's College GameDay will once again broadcast from JPJ next Saturday prior to Virginia's rematch with Duke, the network revealed on Saturday morning. It's the fourth time in the past five seasons that the traveling pregame show has visited Charlottesville.
Entering Saturday afternoon's games, Duke is 18-2 and ranked second in the country, while the Wahoos are 19-1 and ranked third nationally. Both teams are at home on Saturday, with Duke hosting St. John's and UVA facing Miami.
The first College GameDay broadcast of the season came from Cameron Indoor Stadium three weeks ago, when the Wahoos visited Duke. The Blue Devils won that game 72-70 to hand UVA its only loss of the season.
Virginia is 1-4 all-time in College GameDay games during the regular season, including a 1-2 record at JPJ. The Wahoos lost to Duke in 2015 and to Virginia Tech in overtime last season, and beat North Carolina at JPJ in 2016. UVA also lost to the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill following a GameDay broadcast in 2017.
