The Virginia football team has added its first four-star player to its 2020 recruiting class.
Ja'Darius "Bud" Clark, a defensive back from Alexandria, La., announced that he is "110% Committed to UVA" on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon. The 6-1, 170-pound Clark is rated as a four-star cornerback by 247Sports and a three-star safety by Rivals.
Clark is the third player to join UVA's 2020 recruiting class. Jahmeer Carter, a defensive tackle from Maryland, has been committed since last July. Offensive lineman Jestus Johnson, from Gonzaga Prep in Washington, DC, gave his verbal commitment two weeks ago. Both players are consensus three-star prospects.
According to 247Sports, UVA is one of seven programs to offer Clark a scholarship. LSU, Ole Miss and TCU are also among the schools on that list.
