'Hoos move back into AP top five

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Virginia men's basketball has not played since a 57-49 win over VCU on December 9th, but have seen plenty of movement in the last two AP polls.

The Cavaliers climbed back into the top-five, checking in at No. 5 in Monday's poll. Virginia spent last week at No. 6 in the Associated Press poll.

Virginia held on to its first place vote the Cavaliers have received in every poll since the preseason.

A trip to South Carolina is the next game for the Cavaliers on Wednesday. William and Mary will visit JPJ on Saturday afternoon.

Virginia finds itself No. 3 in the coaches poll for the second week in a row.
