CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Gianni Ross clinched matches on doubles and singles to lead the Wahoos to a 4-1 win over South Carolina in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Ross also clinched the match in Friday's NCAA tournament first round win over St. John's.
After the team of Henrik Weirsholm and Brandon Nakashima won on doubles court one, Ross and Will Woodall came back from down 3-2 to win 6-3 and give the Cavaliers the doubles point.
In singles matches, Aswin Lizen, Nakashima and Ross picked up wins. Ryan Goetz lost his match to drop the Cavaliers first match of the NCAA tournament.
