Miller's Balogun commits to Eastern Kentucky

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Miller's Tariq Balogun took the next step in his basketball journey committing to Eastern Kentucky.

Balogun announced the decision on Twitter on Sunday saying, "It’s been a long time coming but I’m excited to announce I will be attending...
Eastern Kentucky University!!!"

Originally from London, Balogun only began playing basketball at the age of 14.

In his two years at Miller, Balogun helped lead the Mavericks to back-to-back VISAA Division II Championship games, including their state title win in 2018. Balogun was also named to the first team All-VISAA Division II this past season.
