CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- The Miller School has developed the reputation of sending cyclists to the next level. Jane Tullis is the latest, signing with Marian University on Monday afternoon.
Marian University won three team cycling national championships in 2018.
"Its always been a dream to continue cycling," Tullis said, "and having the help from Miller School get me there has been amazing."
She said after training and competing in triathlons, the cycling portion of the races grabbed her. With that, Tullis decided cycling would be her path, leading her to Marian University in Indiana.
"Being at a school that supports it and understands cycling was a big part of my decision," Tullis said.
Tullis credited the Miller School with helping her reach this goal.
"Its like a family," she added. "We all train together and then race together. Having the support and family like environment really pushes you to find your limits."
