CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- William Monroe alum Mikey Moyers continued his strong play on Saturday to extend his lead to four strokes at the Charlottesville City Amateur Championship.
Moyers came into Saturday tied for the lead and added to it with a 4-under 67 to move to 7-under for the tournament. Moyer's co-leader was 13-year-old Killian Donnelly, who fell out of the lead with 10-over 81 Saturday.
Defending champ Taylor Ratliff bounced back on day two with a round-high 5-under 66 to move into fourth place heading into Sunday. Steve DeMasters also made a play up the leaderboard with a 4-under 68 to sit in second place. Scott Garrison finished the day at 2-under 69 and sits in third place.
Final round at Meadowcreek Golf Club tees off Sunday morning.
