STAB's Stinnie again on All-CAA first team

HARRISONBURG, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- For the second straight season, offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie is among the players representing the James Madison football team on the All-CAA first team.

A graduate of St. Anne's-Belfield School, Stinnie started all 11 games at left tackle for JMU again this season. Stinnie anchored an offensive line that helped the Dukes go 11-0 and lead the CAA in both points (35.9) and rushing yards (211.4) per game, and finish second in the league in total offense (429.8 yards per game).

Stinnie has started all 38 games for the Dukes the past three seasons, helping JMU win three consecutive CAA titles in that stretch, including the first back-to-back 8-0 conference records in league history. The reigning FCS national champion, JMU has won 23 straight games, a CAA record and the longest active streak in Division I.

JMU put a league-high 16 players on the all-conference team. Stinnie is one of eight Dukes to earn first-team honors.
