PHOENIX, Az. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Jack Salt and Ty Jerome will be teammates once again this summer. According to reports from Fox Sports Australia, Salt is signing a summer league deal with the Suns.
Salt announced jokingly during Virginia's NCAA Championship celebration he would enter his name in the NBA Draft and hire an agent to begin his professional career after completing his fifth season with the Wahoos.
The fifth-year senior started 106 of 126 career games at Virginia. He finished his career with career averages of 3.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Salt was also a two-time captain for Virginia and helped lead the Cavaliers to the first NCAA Championship in school history in April.
