CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Virginia safety Juan Thornhill will get a chance to boost his NFL Draft stock next month in Indianapolis.
Thornhill announced Wednesday night on Twitter that he's been invited to the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Thornhill is ranked as the No. 58 overall prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft by CBSSports.com. Dane Brugler of The Athletic ranks Thornhill fourth among safeties in this year's draft class.
Thornhill was a first-team All-ACC selection as a senior for the Wahoos in 2018. His 98 tackles led UVA, while Thornhill's six interceptions ranked third in both the ACC and the country. Thornhill's 12 career interceptions are tied with three other players for seventh-most in UVA history.
Later this month, Thornhill will be in Mobile, Alabama to participate in this year's Senior Bowl.
