UVA 8-game win streak ended at Duke

DURHAM, N.C. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Duke used a 6-0 run in the second half to win 12-7 and earn their 11th-straight win over Virginia.

After being tied at halftime, the Cavaliers took a 6-5 lead early in the second half off a Mikey Herring goal. That would be Virginia's last lead of the game as Duke started their 6-0 run to take control.

Virginia was lead by Matt Moore with four goals, all coming in the first half. St. Anne's-Belfield alum Joe Robertson lead Duke with three goals.

Despite the Virginia eight-game win streak coming to an end, with a North Carolina loss on Saturday, the Wahoos claimed the outright ACC regular season title.

Virginia returns home on Tuesday night against VMI before closing the regular season against Marist.
