UVA falls to UNC in NCAA Quarterfinals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- North Carolina used an 11-0 run to top Virginia 14-7 in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Saturday.

The Cavaliers got off to a quick start with back-to-back goals from Nora Bowen to take a 2-0 lead. But after Lillie Kloak's goal made it 3-1, the Tar Heels began their 11-0 run that lasted into the second half.

The Tar Heels were lead by three players with hat-tricks.

Virginia finishes the season 13-7 overall. North Carolina will face ACC foe Boston College in the NCAA Semifinals next weekend.
