MOBILE, Ala. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Juan Thornhill will find out this weekend where his final game in a Virginia football uniform will be played. And once the Cavaliers' postseason bowl game is over, Thornhill will turn his attention to January's Senior Bowl in Alabama.
Thornhill was one of 20 players to officially accept invites to the Senior Bowl on Thursday. The game will be played on January 26 in Mobile, Alabama, and comes after a week of practices in front of NFL talent evaluators preparing for the 2019 draft.
Thornhill was just named first-team All-ACC at safety earlier this week. His 92 tackles lead the UVA defense, while his five interceptions rank third in the ACC and fourth in the country. Thornhill also has six pass breakups, three tackles for loss and a blocked extra point.
