Virginia falls on the road to Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mi. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Michigan State held Virginia to four points in the first quarter on their way to a dominant 91-66 win in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

The Spartans shot 56.9 percent from the field and were lead by Jenna Allen, who scored a game-high 21 points.

The Cavaliers were lead by Bri Tinsley with a career-high 19 points, including going 5-9 from three point range. Jocelyn Willoughby had her second straight double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Virginia falls to 2-5 on the season and are back at home on Sunday to face Coppin State.
