Wahoos rally to beat Virginia Tech in Commonwealth Clash

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- A second-half rally leads Virginia past Virginia Tech 13-10 in a Commonwealth Clash on Senior Day.

After a back-and-forth game early on, the Hokies went on a 4-0 run to take an 8-4 lead early in the second half. The Cavaliers would respond by scoring six unanswered goals to close out the game, including three coming from Nora Bowen.

Bowen and Avery Shoemaker lead the Cavaliers with four goals a piece, while Maggie Jackson provided five assists, including passes to set up the game-tying and go-ahead goals by Bowen.

Next up Virginia heads to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for the ACC Tournament. The Cavaliers will be the No. 5 seed and face No. 4 seed Syracuse on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
