CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- After being shutout in game one Saturday afternoon, the Virginia baseball team bounced back for a 4-0 win over Seton Hall to split Saturday's doubleheader with the Pirates.
Virginia lost game one 3-0. Seton Hall allowed just six base runners in the game. Noah Murdock allowed three runs on seven hits in seven innings, walking one and striking out four.
In game two, Griff McGary through six innings of three-hit shutout baseball to lead the Cavaliers to the split. Devin Ortiz hit his first career home run in the win.
The series finale will be pushed up to 9:30 Sunday morning because of rain in the forecast.
