Taylor’s Auto Body Shop celebrates twenty six years of service to Charlottesville, Albemarle and surrounding localities. We began our family owned and operated business in 1986 and twenty six years later we are still a family owned and operated business. We operate on the same principals today as we did in 1986. Our slogan is and has always been, "Highest Standard of Excellence from the Appraisal to the Completed Repairs".
Taylor’s Auto Body Shop is very connected to our community and the environment. We support adult and youth athletics as well as other charitable organizations. Additionally, we are now a “GREEN SHOP”. We use Pittsburg Paint and Glass (PPG) waterborne sprayable products for all our refinishing procedures. Going green is friendly to our employees and more gentle to the environment. Taylor’s Auto Body Shop proudly does our part to protect the environment and the community we love and live in!

Estimates are available by appointment 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday.
Our hours of operation are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Our After Hours drop box is located outside our fence and available 24 hours a day.
Taylor’s goal is and always has been to satisfy our customers with quality collision repairs and excellent service. You, the consumer, have the right to choose where your vehicle repairs are performed, not your insurance company!
Taylor’s will work with all insurance companies to facilitate the repairs to your vehicle. We provide all customers with an itemized estimate of repairs before repairs are started. In the event additional damage is discovered after we have begun repairs, with your permission, we will contact your insurance company so they can reinspect and document the damage. When repairs are completed, we provide a final repair order showing every part replaced and operations performed during the repairs.
Some Insurance companies may try to pressure consumers to their, “Preferred” repair facility. The customer has the final and legal right to choose where they have repairs performed. In many instances, “Preferred” may mean a particular insurance carrier has negotiated discounts and dictated repair procedures and parts usage with a shop. If the insurance company tries to sell “lifetime warranty” if one uses their “preferred shop”, Taylor’s offers the same warranty on all repairs.
We at Taylor’s work for the customer and stand behind our workmanship with a lifetime warranty. In the unfortunate event an accident occurs, we want to retain our customers through service and quality. Since 1986, Taylor’s has always worked for the customer to make sure they receive the quality of repairs they deserve.
