More than 80 vendors were featured at the 42nd Annual Home and Garden Festival put on by the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association.
This year they've teamed up with the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program, AHIP, to raise money for community members who need get critical repair work done in their homes.
The non-profit organization has been around Charlottesville and Albemarle County for around 40 years, and helps around 150 family annually.
"This event is wonderful in that people who don't know about AHIP or have never heard of it get the chance to learn a little more," said AHIP Director of Development and Marketing Ravi Respeto.
"We have 417 families right now relying on us to try to get the word out and to get people involved with the organization."
People interested in volunteering for AHIP are encouraged to visit their website at www.ahipva.org.
