Building Goodness Elects First Female Board President

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (NEWSPLEX) -- The Building Goodness Foundation has its first female board president, Diane Hillman.

She has a background in health care and strategic and program planning, and she will lead BGF for the next two years.

"I'm ready to get to work and help make an impact," said Hillman. "I'm excited about BGF's upcoming projects. They address serious needs of communities locally and internationally."

She will help oversee a construction plan for 2016 that includes renovation to Camp Holiday Trails, Lighthouse Studio and the Virginia Discovery Museum as well building a school for orphans in Haiti, a center for at-risk young women in Guatemala and a women's clinic in Liberia.

Hillman has served on the BGF board for three years.
