CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (NEWSPLEX) -- Basketball fans in Charlottesville got some help filling out March Madness brackets on Monday, thanks to some University of Virginia greats.

Ralph Sampson and Barry Parkhill offered their input at the Bracket Breakfast Challenge.

For Cavalier fans, the panelists all agreed that UVA will do well in the NCAA tournament.

Ticket sales for the event benefit the Piedmont CASA in Charlottesville

"This is a wonderful event because it introduces CASA to an audience that might not learn about the organization and work that we do," said CASA President Alicia Lenahan.

The Hoos were selected as the number one seed for the Midwest Region in the tournament.

Play begins Thursday.
