Former Youth Pastor Indicted for Indecent Liberties Charges

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (NEWSPLEX) -- A former youth pastor has been indicted on charges of taking indecent liberties with a child by a custodian.

Jacob Daniel Kepple was indicted by a grand jury Monday.

He is facing two counts for incidents that took place sometime between 2010 and 2012 while he was a youth pastor at the First Baptist Church on Park Street.

Officials report the victim participated in church activities that Kepple oversaw as part of his role with the church.

Kepple is scheduled to be in court again Jan. 28, 2016.
